Hey! I’m a software engineer! I especially like Python, MSSQL, large datasets, making APIs, and using various frameworks to make useful apps for work. Currently, I’m figuring out Docker, containerizing applications, and digging into more JavaScript.
Originally from Southern Illinois, I currently live in Urbana, Illinois and work in Champaign. I got my bachelors in computer engineering from the University of Illinois in 2011. After I graduated, I found a job in the area and have been in the Chambana area ever since.
What do I like to do for fun, you ask? Reading, spending time with my family, and extensively quoting the Simpsons and/or LOTR. I also enjoy cats, camping, coffee, cooking, and alliteration.
I’ll post here and there hopefully a few times a month. You may find posts about a myriad of topics ranging from me figuring out a problem and wanting to share the solution, me just making notes for myself while learning a topic, to me just finding something interesting to share.
